Problem Solving

Learning to fabricate basic window treatments is a simple process for a workroom. Learning to adapt custom treatments with varying fabrics to windows of different sizes and shapes is an ongoing challenge. These tips will simply address problems as I encounter them and the solutions I apply.

Problem:

>>>	Traverse rods which cannot be hung high enough above the window can be unsightly from the streetside of the window.
>>>	Ready made panels are not long enough for windows in new home.
>>>	Client wanted an awning valance, but the window span was over 100". How can you build an awning frame which will not sag over that width?
